一、研究方向
1. 重要性状遗传机理解析
遵循“科学问题来自于生产实际”的原则,本团队以鸡、鸽重要性状的性能改良和品质提升为切入点,利用全基因组和转录组等组学、免疫学和分子生物学等技术,深入研究鸡、鸽种质资源特性。挖掘肉鸡脂肪沉积、产肉率、饲料报酬和风味等性状功能基因并解析遗传基础;筛选肉鸡宿主抗病功能基因并解析其作用机制;解析种公鸡精液品质、母鸡持续受精能力等繁殖性状和交叉喙遗传缺陷性状的分子和环境调控机制;开展蛋鸡繁殖性状杂种优势预测与分子调控机制等基础研究;解析雌雄鸽的泌乳调控机理及鸽毛滴虫寄生和免疫逃逸的分子机制。
2. 育种和其它应用技术研发
国内最早建立了肌内脂肪含量、肌苷酸含量、淋巴细胞比率的选育技术;国内最早建立了矮小型肉鸡配套制种技术,在30%的国家审定肉鸡新品种中得到应用;自主研发出国内首款“京芯一号”肉鸡基因组育种芯片,建立了肉鸡全基因组选择技术平台;建立了小型白羽肉鸡的育种技术,相关专利在企业成功转化;结合传统育种技术和分子标记辅助选育技术,创新了鸡受精能力选育技术和鸽BLUP育种技术,系统研发了肉鸡、蛋鸡和种鸡精准光照技术。
3. 新品种培育
利用优良地方鸡种、进口肉鸡或高产蛋鸡品种等遗传素材,与育种企业合作,创制专门化新品系,持续开展品系选育和配套系培育工作,培育了具有市场竞争力的黄羽肉鸡、特色蛋鸡和快速型白羽肉鸡新品种。节粮优质抗病育种技术体系为解决产业中优质高产高效问题提供了关键技术支撑。“栗园油鸡蛋鸡”和“京星黄鸡103”于2016年通过国家审定,有力推动了北京油鸡资源的开发利用;利用引进的肉鸽品种及特色地方品种等优势育种资源,开展肉鸽新品种培育,致力于解决肉鸽国家审定品种少、繁育体系不健全等产业问题。

1 育成新品种与科技奖励
育成肉鸡新品种(配套系)京星黄鸡100、京星黄鸡102、京星黄鸡103,与企业合作育成肉鸡新品种(配套系)五星黄鸡、金陵花鸡金陵黑凤鸡,育成栗园油鸡蛋鸡新品种(配套系);获得国家科技进步二等奖2项,中华农业科技一等奖、全国农牧渔业丰收一等奖、安徽科学技术一等奖各1项。
